Recyclus to Recycle End-Of-Life Lithium-Ion Batteries for a Leading Global Automotive Company
e are pleased to announce that Recyclus has entered into an agreement to recycle lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery packs for a leading global automotive company.
Under the terms of the contract, we will process hundreds of electric vehicle (EV) Li-ion battery packs at our Wolverhampton industrial-scale recycling facility. These batteries will be sourced both domestically and internationally as part of the company’s battery recall programme. This agreement also marks a significant milestone as our first contract for recycling batteries from overseas.
This partnership underscores our growing global presence and reputation in the Li-ion battery recycling sector. It also highlights the increasing demand for sustainable, cradle-to-cradle solutions that address the full lifecycle of EV batteries.
Robin Brundle, Co-Founder and Director of Recyclus, commented:
“We are thrilled to collaborate with a globally renowned company that shares our commitment to driving sustainability in the automotive sector. The multinational scope of the partnership highlights the industry-leading nature of Recyclus’ solutions, building further momentum for the company and reinforcing our position as a trusted service provider for Li-ion battery recycling.”
